Leveraging Statewide Resources to Support Mental Health

Events of the past few years have had, and continue to have, a negative impact on our mental health.

From the ripple effects of COVID-19 to stressors like economic uncertainty, having access to mental health services and support matters now more than ever.

Join us as Solari Crisis & Human Services shares how organizations can take advantage of Arizona’s mental health resources to support the people they serve.

Solari Crisis & Human Services is an award-winning nonprofit based in Tempe, Arizona that, since 2007, has been partnering with communities to provide solutions that improve public access to local services and resources.

Solari’s Shelby Graves is joining the Community Collective to share details about statewide resources including the 211 information and referral line, 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, peer support warm line, and more. She’ll show how organizations can leverage these resources and empower the people they serve to access help in both crisis and non-crisis situations.

Shelby Graves, MPH, is Public Health and Community Outreach Administrator, responsible for public health initiatives, community outreach, and emergency management within Solari. She has years of experience providing public and mental health trainings. Shelby is a certified instructor for the Adult, Youth and Teen Mental Health First Aid courses and has the privilege of overseeing Solari’s federal mental health awareness training grant. She currently serves on the Arizona Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster board and has served four years on the board of Arizona Public Health Association. Shelby is passionate about helping communities and health professionals learn more about how to support people experiencing a mental health crisis. She believes that together, we can fight the stigma of seeking mental health care.
